What I Liked:
I reached for Wingmom because I was looking for something funny to cheer me up. Sophie’s mom is super unconvential and the way she ends up in all sorts of strange situations does add quite a bit of humor to the situation.
What Bothered Me:
My misconception going in was that Sophie’s mom would be trying to push her into a relationship, but really she was just there to help out with all her scheme’s to salvage her career, so more just like a best friend.
Overall:
If you are a lover of dogs, romcoms, and moms that might be a little off the rails, then you should read Wingmom.
