What I Liked:
Individual scenes were fine. Suspense level was high from start to finish. I was intrigued by the concept of the unwitting innocent being thrown into the world of the bad boy assassin.
What I Didn’t Really Like:
I struggled with the flow of the story and the feelings that Skye and Galen develop for each other. Some of Skye’s reactions given her very sheltered background and how things ended with Viko didn’t really make sense to me.
Overall:
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to really get into this book enough to truly enjoy the book as a whole. If you’re the type of reader that enjoys reading a steamy chapter here and there, this will suit you just fine.
