What I Liked:
I appreciated how strong the FMC, Rai, was within a male dominated world and how she was able to help work toward change away from the more deplorable acts tranditionally committed by her organization.
What Bothered Me:
The spicy scenes were a tad rougher than I normally prefer but that was in line with the MMC’s feral tendencies.
Overall:
When you’re in the mood for a very spice and awfully dark mafia romance with a decent amount of action and suspense, check out the Throne Duet. Even though it’s two books, I finished it within a few days because they were pretty easy reads.
