After a night of drinking Gemma does a spell to make it so she never met the man that just broke her heart. She never thought it would actually work and didn't anticipate all the other changes it would bring about, but she wakes up in a strangers bed in a completely different world.
What I Liked:
I liked that This Spells Love is a new twist on the well-loved Friends to Lovers trope. Gemma is able to explore what might have happened between her and her best friend Dax if life had turned out differently.
What Bothered Me:
If I had a book of spells and one actually worked, I think I would probably read the thing cover to cover and see if there was anything else worth trying.
Overall:
If you like friends to lovers and have ever had a good ponder about what life might be like if you had done something differently years ago, you should read This Spells Love.
