Valentina has worked her butt off for Luca for years but she quits when she's finally had enough. Rather than lose her, Luca convinces Valentina to be his wife for three years so he can earn his inheritance.
What I Liked:
The writing is very emotionally engaging. It hooks you in and you really feel what the characters are going through.
What I Didn’t Like:
To me, it felt like the story dragged on a bit. I was also a little confused by Luca’s progression of feelings.
Overall:
If you like super emotional books that really explore the journey of the main characters and don’t mind slightly outrageous plots that sit on the verge of being completely unrealistic, then you’ll enjoy this read. It is fiction after all.
