What I Liked:
I liked the pair up of Claire the ER nurse and Graham the firefighter. It was a cute friends to lovers plot and the tiny dog with tons of attitude was nice comedic relief.
What Bothered Me:
I understand why friends might make a marriage pact, but I was a little more confused by the logic of making a friends-with-benefits pact. Not that they did wait until one of them turned a certain age, but if neither was looking for committment then I would think the deal would have been to sleep together until one of them found something more serious.
Overall:
I would recommend The Roommate Pact when you are looking for a basic friends to lovers plot with two characters that need to overcome baggage to be together. I don’t mean basic in a bad way, just straight-forward and predictable.
