Heat Rating:
Ami is convinced the only reason her twin decided to elope to Maui is to save her from heartbreak by reminding her of her cheating ex-husband, especially since she is marrying his brother. However, Ami knows her sister well so decides to organize the Torres family to travel to Hawaii and surprise the happy could with a dream wedding organized by her in a week and on a budget, of course. All goes according to…

What I Liked:
I listened to this right after finishing The Unhoneymooners and it was nice to give Ami her own HEA after the terrible situation that happened. This was a bit of a unique audio production with sound effects, music, and multiple voices that attempted to make the experience more immersive. I enjoyed pretending like I was in Maui too. I may have helped that I have been so was familiar with the landmarks referenced.

What I Didn’t Really Like:
I was a little let down that Brody went through his own ordeal and very little time was spent on his development, but it is women’s fiction and was more focused on Ami.

Overall:
If you fell in love with the Torres family while reading The Unhoneymooners then you should listen to The Honeymoon Crashers.
