What I Liked:
I really liked the plot and how the secret isn’t even revealed to the reader until a good way in. I did guess the secret correctly, but little hints here and there kept me second guessing my gut instinct. Dylan, the male protagonist, is a dreamy book boyfriend. He is the perfect balance of confident but humble and hard-working, unlike many of the males featured in sports romance novels.

What I Didn’t Really Like:
There were just a few things that bothered me a little while I was reading. First, Zoe was a tad too awkward for me. Her awkwardness wasn’t really funny at times; it was almost painful to read. Also, I had trouble with some of the dialogue not feeling realistic. It caught me up a bit as I was reading.

Overall:
This was still a solid read and for a sports romance, it doesn’t actually get too heavy into the sports. There are really only a few football scenes., so don’t worry if that’s not your thing. Do read the content warnings before starting this book though as it might be triggering for some.
