What I Liked:
I was excited to embrace the changing of the season by reading The Fall Back Plan and quickly became jealous of all the fall outfits and sweaters the characters wore. The single dad trope is one that I enjoy occasionally and I liked the slight twist that Lucas is a dad because he is the guardian of his niece so there were no ghosts of past wives to overcome. I also think the proposal in the epilogue was a doozy.
What Bothered Me:
The comedy elements didn’t line up perfectly with my sense of humor. For example, the pasty joke fell flat for me.
