Christopher wants to experience life without his billion dollar bank account and Hayden wants to finally get over her ex so they each decide to backpack around Europe for a year and end up in the same group of friends in Spain. Their friendship becomes more but their love may not be enough to hold them together when they have to go back to their real lives.
What I Liked:
I really enjoyed the humor that resulted from the billionaire playboy learning what it’s like have very little money. His resistance to accepting his situation at the beginning wouldn’t have been possible if he didn’t know he had a safety net, but it also wouldn’t have been as funny.
What I Didn’t Really Like:
Christopher’s reaction about moving to London kind of bothered me. Be prepared for some very dickish behavior.
Overall:
The Do-Over is a fun steamy, billionaire romance. I’ve never been backpacking in Europe so I don’t know how accurate that part is, but it was a nice twist while staying in the genre.
