After years of pretending to be the perfect baseball wife, Thea asks for a divorce. When Gavin claims he'll do anything to save his marriage, his friends pull him into a secret book club consisting of men trying to learn how to improve their relationships through romance novels.

What I Liked:
I loved the idea behind this book. Romance is not just for women! The idea that people can learn from the mistakes characters make in books is divine and I wish it would happen more often.

What I Didn’t Really Like:
The topic of divorce is an emotionally sensitive one for me, but I did like the messaging that all relationships go through rough spots.

Overall:
I very much enjoyed The Bromance Book Club and you will too if you like the idea of a group of powerful guys coming together to get in touch with their emotions and discuss relationships. I’m actually trying to get my husband to listen to the audiobook.

The Last Word:

I just finished the fifth book in the Bromance Book Club series, A Very Merry Bromance. It was the only one that had a holiday theme, but it might be nice to save it for the winter season. I was very happy with the series and think you will be too if you enjoy groups of male friends that are crazy and at times stupid in their own love lives but always there for one another. All of the books have a lot of humor and a bit of action/suspense to keep them interesting.
