Sewanee doesn't believe in romance but has one amazingly hot night with a dreamy Irishman in Las Vegas due to circumstances one would only expect to find in their favorite novel. When she gets back to her life as an audiobook narrator, she is convinced to work on a romance novel with the secretive Brock McNight and their professional collaboration quickly turns into something more.

What I Liked:
I highly recommend listening to the audiobook version of Thank You for Listening. I am in utter awe of the number of voices that Julia Whelan uses throughout this one book. Her sticking to a Texas drawl through her entire sexy one-night stand is hilarious. It has tons of literary references and discussions that book lovers will appreciate.

What I Didn’t Really Like:
My heart hurt soooo bad when Nick admitted the reason her first approached her in Vegas.

Overall:
If you’re a fan of audiobooks, especially romance books, you should definitely listen to Thank You for Listening. It felt like getting a sneak peak at what goes into creating an audiobook and I now have a greater appreciation for the profession. While listening, it reminded me a bit of Romantic Comedy due to the exchange of emails and texts that starts to build the connection between the characters.
