A number of short stories to supplement the Kate Daniels series.
What I Liked:
They were fun little short stories that likely provided new insight into the characters.
What I didn’t like:
Being short stories, there was very little world building or much context for each.
Overall:
This was listed as a prequel when I looked up the reading order for the Kate Daniels series. I would not recommend reading it first. I am guessing that the alternate POVs will make sooo much more sense when read directly after the book referenced. However, the spoilers weren’t too bad and I am now looking forward to reading Magic Bites.
