A chance encounter introduces a promising lawyer, Maria, to a bruised and battered MMA fighter, Colin, who's trying to stay out of prison. First impressions weren't the best, but a meddling younger sister arranges for them to meet again and soon becomes clear that each is more than they seem on the surface. Their chemistry doesn't make sense but it's there. Whether their budding relationship can survive the threat that's followed Maria from her old…

What I Liked:
I liked Colin’s quirks, especially how they presented themselves in the dialogue and that made the last sentence of the book seem absolutely perfect and fitting. I have a weakness for bad boys with a heart of gold, so Colin was bound to be my favorite character.

What Bothered Me:
Some of the character motivations were not especially clear to me and I found myself wondering why they reacted a certain way, especially when the level of suspense got ramped up.

Overall:
With a really strong suspense plot, I think See Me will be appreciated by lovers of the romance and thriller genres. There are quite a few twists near the end that really caught me off guard.
