What I Liked:
I am not personally a gamer, but I was still attracted to the way the main characters meet online and then later in real life. I found the misunderstandings and assumptions about their identities quite humorous.
What I Didn’t Really Like:
The relationship between the two main characters evolves very slowly and then bam, they are together. There is very little internal conflict, which could have been a deliberate choice so the main characters can support each other as they face loads of external conflict. It felt a bit more like two individual characters going through their own life challenges than a traditional romance.
Overall:
This is an LGBTQ+ Romance and it was nice to see some of the characters being open and understanding of all types of sexuality, but it was a little rough to see the responses from more judgmental types.
