What I Liked:
All of the Valenshek Legacy books, but especially Restoration, were so full of unexpected twists and turns it made it fun to read because I really couldn’t guess what was coming. I also enjoyed the little references to places and characters from the other series that take place in the same world.
What I Didn’t Really Like:
It was a little surprising that someone as smooth and skilled as John could be so clueless when it comes to relationships, but it was also a tiny bit endearing and his attempt at writing love notes was downright hilarious.
Overall:
The Valenshek Legacy series reminded me of the Thomas Crown affair combined with the Hunger Games but with tons of spice. Tate James is one of my favorite authors when I’m in the mood for something extra steamy and I thoroughly enjoyed this series.
