What I Liked:
So much happens in this book and I loved how the story developed. Despite being in the middle of the series, this book ends nicely with a sense of resolution for many of the main characters.
What I Didn’t Really Like:
In order for so much to happen in the story, the book is 662 pages long. I was reading the ebook and hadn’t mentally prepared myself for such a long read. That in no way would have deterred me from reading it, but I would have planned it for a weekend or when I could devote larger chunks of time to reading.
Overall:
Queen of Shadows was another excellent addition to the Throne of Glass series. I read the prequel novellas between Heir of Fire and this book and I was pleased with that decision. They provided insight into the characters of Sam, Arobynn, and Lysandra, which enhanced the reading of Queen of Shadows.
