Freya is an orphan wolf-shifter that can't shift and is rejected by her fated mate and exiled from her pack. Out in the wildlands she's on her own but her heat is triggered attracting all sorts of unwanted attention until she runs into a small pack of alpha males that are willing to protect her in exchange for her body.

What I Liked:
Gage, Heath, and Flint make for a great mix of alpha male members of Freya’s harem. They are all held back by their own issues giving them depth of character and making them more than their varied but outrageous good looks. I also really appreciate the ending that wasn’t some crazy cliffhanger that’s stressing me out but does motivate me to read the next book soon.

What I Didn’t Really Like:
Each character really holds onto their issues and at times their thought processes feel a tad repetitive.

Overall:
When the mood strikes for something extra steamy with alpha male wolf shifters that you won’t find the real world, readers should give Protected by Outcasts a try.
