Heat Rating:
Annie thinks the empty place in heart will be filled by a husband. The problem is that she's so terrible at dating that her friend suggests the executive protection agent, Will, to practice with her until she works through her nerves. Her brain knows Will is entirely off limits, but her heart doesn't seem to get the message.

What I Liked:
The quirky, meddling townsfolk were one of my favorite parts of the book. Rome, Kentucky is the quintessential backdrop for this sweet small town romance being a little rough around the edges but full of character.

What Bothered Me:
The good girl being corrupted by the bad boy isn’t my favorite storyline. Even so, I would have loved to see Annie break out of her shell even more.

Overall:
Pick up Practice Makes Perfect when you’re in the mood for a very sweet and clean small town romance with a straight-forward plot.
