What I Liked:
In many ways it felt like Powerless is an alternate version of The Hunger Games that is more fantasy based and less dystopian. There are many parallels that fans will appreciate. The book is pretty low spice but there is great chemistry and the build up of tension between Paedyn and Kai, which I enjoyed.
Fair Warning:
There are many unanswered questions floating around in my head after finishing Powerless, which I am hoping will get resolved in the other books of the trilogy.
Overall:
If you are a fan of romantic fantasy and The Hunger Games, then you will likely enjoy Powerless. Note that the last book in the trilogy is not set to come out until April 2025.
