What I Liked:
Most of the comedy is a result of the main character, Lynsey, being awkward and clumsy, but it helps make her character feel more real. I love that underneath it all Lynsey is a strong female that knows what she wants to do with her life and isn’t going to let unexpected circumstances get in her way.

What I Didn’t Really Like:
I found myself feeling quite jealous of how easy Lynsey’s pregnancy was and horny she was feeling. It was kind of necessary for this book to be as steamy as it was, but it was definitely not something I could relate to based on my own pregnancies. I had a tiny bit of trouble with the resolution of the primary conflict, because the love interest, Josh, seemed to push through some major mental issues a little too easily in order to win the girl back. For a book that involved lots of discussion of counseling, it might have been good for him to agree to work with a therapist to work through his issues.

Overall:
I wish I hadn’t been so busy this weekend and could have sat down to read this book quicker. This was a fun steamy read and definitely made for a nice little mental escape. The next book in Daws’ Wait With Me series is already in my queue.
