Happy Place

What I Liked:
Is it possible to relate to the characters in a book a little too well? It might be and it resulted in me being on the verge of physically uncomfortable as I read this book. The emotional turmoil experienced by the main characters had my stomach in knots. The tension builds and builds until you know there will be an explosion of some sort, but it made me want to push through as quickly as possible to the happy ending I knew was waiting for me on the other side.

What I Didn’t Really Like:
I wasn’t a huge fan of reverting to past experiences both from within a chapter in the current time and having complete separate chapters.

Overall:
This is not a cozy read. However, if you like angst and tension, you will love this book.
