Diane Petit is determined to make Parisian billionaire Sebastian Darcy pay for ruining her dad's fragrance business. After gaining media attention for shoving cake in his gorgeous face, she agrees to a ludicrous scheme to fake marry him to flush out a family enemy. In exchange, Diane will get the money her dad needs to restart his business and the access she needs to dig up the dirt that will ruin Sebastian for good.

What I Liked:
I was attracted to Find You in Paris due to the reported similarities with Pride and Prejudice, which centered mostly on Sebastian being born wealthy and being standoffish and Diane being from a smaller town and having little formal education. So while the author may have been inspired by the classic, there were not a lot of clear parallels in the story. Completely unrelated, there were a lot of french words and references used to build up a nice cultural background.

What Bothered Me:
I don’t mind if suspense elements are thrown in to a romance, however, in this case they were very short-lived and thrown in at the end giving the characters an easy push to realize what they mean to one another. I tend to prefer when the characters actually do the work to come together.

Overall:
If you enjoy enemies to lover billionaire romance and preferably understand some french, you may want to pick up a copy of Find You in Paris.
