Taryn agrees to temporarily mate Trey to help his pack gain alliances in exchange for getting her out of mating a truly terrible wolf. It works out great except the distance she needs to be able to walk away when it's over is harder and harder to maintain

What I Liked:
Taryn is a fun, super snarky strong alpha female character. It was nice to see her overcome all the negative judgement she received as a latent wolf and have her prove her worth anyways. The dynamics between Taryn and Trey being both such strong alphas certainly kept things interesting.

What I Didn’t Really Like:
Maybe it’s just how I’m feeling today, but there was a lot of swearing and a lot fo steamy scenes, maybe a little too much?

Overall:
I know it’s been around for a while (published in 2013), but I just found the Phoenix Pack series. If you enjoy steamy wolf shifter romance, then you might want to check it out too. It’s currently available on KU with the audiobook, so that’s a bonus. Just make sure it doesn’t start playing in the car when your kids are there…it’s not appropriate for little ears.
