Grace discovers she's a gargoyle that's been trapped in stone for four months and now she has her mate's brother, Hudson, whom everyone this is a homicidal maniac stuck in her head. She works with her friends to tackle deadly tasks in order to remove Hudson from her head but the longer he's there the more she starts to wonder if there's more to his story.

What I Liked:
There were a few plot points that I enjoyed. There are multiple twists that help make the story unique from well-known series in the genre.

What Bothered Me:
The building of a relationship between Hudson and Grace was one of the key concepts of Crush but since Hudson was an apparition living in Grace’s head, there wasn’t as much opportunity for the little phsycial interactions one normally gets as two people get to know one another. Also, killing off characters, especially ones that I was starting to like, kind of bothers me and I really hope it’s vital to a future plot point.

Overall:
If you like YA paranormal romance, you will probably enjoy the Crave series. I’m currently on the fence whether to continue with the series. Of course, Crush ends on a pretty big cliffhanger. I saw it coming, but it might end up bothering me enough that I move on the the next book in the series.
