What I Liked:
This was a related standalone that moves the story on from the first three books in the Supernatural Legacy series, but is focused on a new couple, Sophia and Micah. Lana and Callan are still present but in secondary roles except for the epilogue, which is told from Lana’s POV. I enjoyed how there were little elements that tied into Frost’s other series.
Things I Didn’t Like:
There isn’t really much worth mentioning, but the ending leaves lots of potential for the story to grow in multiple directions. The main conflict of the book is wrapped up, but other teasers are left open.
Overall:
I am a long time Everly Frost fan and will continue to read everything she puts out. If you like urban fantasy romance and paranormal romance, you should check out her books. If you’ve started the Supernatural Legacy series, it’s worth it to finish it out. If you haven’t, my favorite of her series is the Storm Princess Saga.
