Shaye has always struggled with her empathic healing abilities not being accepted by those around her until she moves to a small town in Tennessee and feels compelled to help a man in pain

What I Liked:
The cover art was pretty, professional, and enticing.

What I Didn’t Really Like:
The two things I struggled with were the lack of conflict in the establishment of the relationships and the excessive narrative explanations that were often then repeated in the dialogue. There was plenty of external conflict, but fated mates relationships where they are super accepting about it from the beginning don’t draw me in.

Overall:
It was not my favorite, but I like the idea of a family full of all types of supernaturals.
