Augustus Everett is an acclaimed author of literary fiction. January Andrews writes bestselling romance. When she pens a happily ever after, he kills off his entire cast. They’re polar opposites. Until, one hazy evening, one thing leads to another and they strike a deal designed to…
What I Liked:
This book sucked me in from the beginning. It’s not really a suspense story but the little teasers keep the tension high and make it hard to put it down. I think it was beautiful that both January and Gus had their own issues to work through.
What I Didn’t Really Like:
When the letter from January’s dad is finally revealed, it didn’t have as big of an impact on me as I had thought it would.
Overall:
Whether you are a fan of romance or women’s fiction, you will enjoy the exploration of what a happy ending truly means to different individuals.
