What I Liked:
I love the mix of paranormal romance and crime thriller. Even though Mia and Seth are already together, there’s still plenty of suspense as their relationship and roles in the community evolve.
What I Didn’t Really Like:
The twist at the end really caught me off guard. It was a good thing, but I had trouble identifying the little clues I should have noticed along the way.
Overall:
Occasionally, I have trouble when the main characters get together too early in a series. I thrive on the tension that often disappears once the real relationship starts. That was not the case with Mia and Seth. This second book still has plenty of delicious tension and suspense. It’s definitely worth a read.
