What I Liked:
The push/pull between Asha and the Vandawolf and the unknown of whether he’s being caring or manipulative is utterly delicious.
What I Didn’t Really Like:
I’m a little unclear on what exactly gives Blacksmiths their power, where they came from, their history, and whether there are any other sources of magic in this world.
Overall:
Romantic Fantasy lovers should definitely put this on their tbr list. It is the first book of three and it does end on a cliffhanger. However, it’s a great cliffhanger. The future is uncertain and I want to find out what happens but a stage of Asha’s life has come to an end giving a sense of resolution as well. As of this review the third book of the series was not yet published, so keep that in mind if you don’t like having to wait to jump to the next book in rapid order.
