Sera was trained from birth for the single purpose of becoming the Primal of Death's Consort and then kill him in order to save her kingdom. Only things are never as straight forward as they seem.
What I Liked:
Both Sera and Ash are incredibly complex and flawed characters that pull you into the story.
What I Didn’t Like:
The characters and story are incredibly similar to the Blood and Ash series, which I believe is intentional but feels slightly over-familiar.
Overall:
I am starting this series after book 3 of the Blood and Ash series as was recommended by the She Reads Romance book blog. I’ll have to finish both series to find out whether this order makes the most sense, which is a little daunting because these are definitely not short books.
