What I Like:
I think it’s fun to imagine what things might have been like if women had been allowed to explore scientific pursuits when societal expectations deemed it unacceptable. I enjoy a good bodyguard trope.

What Bothered Me:
I found the pacing to be a bit slow for my tastes and I found the motivations of the villain revealed in the end to be a tad flimsy.

Overall:
If you like Victorian Historical Romance and female characters that are uncommonly gifted in STEM, you should read A Lady’s Formula for Love.
