Why I Write Book Reviews:

I started writing book reviews because I want to connect to a community of readers that love books as much as I do. I review current and past bestsellers to keep up with market trends and provide a common reference for my ratings. I review lesser known books to connect readers with really great new authors. 

My Reading Journey:

As a kid, I struggled with reading and tended read the same books over and over because that was where I was comfortable. As I got older, the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings series helped me learn to like longer books. In college, Jane Austen got me interested in the romance genre

I started reading a ton after my first child was born and was stuck in the rocking chair for hours every day. Since then, my obsession with reading romance and fantasy has only grown. In 2023, I came to the conclusion that if I was going to read so much, someone ought to benefit.
