REVIEW

What I Liked:Joss has is a complex character that makes her compelling. She has panic attacks that highlight her vulnerability but is also the emotionally unavailable one in the relationship.

What I Didn't Really Like:I thought it was great that Joss decided to see a therapist to try to address her panic attacks. However, I wasn't a huge fan the placement of the scenes with her therapist in the book. For a while, I was confused and questioned the reality of being able to get in to see her therapist so quickly and on a weekend, etc. I then realized the author chose to pair the therapist conversations with the triggering events rather than present them in true chronological order.

Overall:It was a steamy contemporary romance that showed a lot of growth in the FMC and has plenty of points to recommend it, including a gorgeous billionaire Scotsman as the MMC.

Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)
