REVIEW

What I Liked:I loved the effect of getting his and her dual points of view on the romance in the past through the books that Ashlyn finds.

What I Didn't Really Like:I found the story of Belle and Hemi's relationship much more satisfying than Ashlyn's. I also wished that Ashlyn's gift of reading echoes had more of a role in the story or was taken out. I'm not sure it was entirely necessary, because the writing itself was so full of emotion that it didn't require her gift to pick it up.

Overall:There was a good while there that I couldn't see how this was going to end well, but the character's pulled through and did in fact achieve their HEA and everything was wrapped up nicely. If you like a little bit of fantasy and enjoy historical fiction, you should give this a try.
