REVIEW

What I Liked:Listening to the audio book was actually better than reading the first book in the series. Hearing the story with an english accent added a little something to the main character El, that I hadn't heard in my head in the first book.

What I Didn't Like:I'm having a love/hate reaction to the cliffhanger at the end. It is very abrupt, which I don't like, but it really makes you want to start in on the third book.

Overall:In general, I liked this book a little better than the first. The status quo is challenged and the characters are forced to change and grow. I was a little disappointed that the cliffhanger from the first book isn't actually completely resolved and one can only hope that's coming in the third book.

Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5)
