REVIEW
What I Liked:I liked the main character, Vanessa, and how she overcame a tumultuous childhood to achieve her dreams but still had insecurities that made it easy to relate.
What I Didn't Like:I had trouble with the pacing. There was more inner monologue that I prefer, even in the midst of the dialogue.
Overall:Be aware that this book doesn't quite follow the traditional romance arc because it's a slow upward build to the end instead of building and regressing only to build again. There's also mention of abusive relationships, so be cognizant of trigger warnings. However, if the strong silent type is your ideal book boyfriend, then you will surely swoon over Aiden in this book.
