REVIEW POSTED ONLINE: OCT 02, 2026

Abi cleans rich people's apartments when they aren't in town, while she's getting her MFA in creative writing. When her place needs to be fumigated, she doesn't see the harm in crashing at a client's place. It's not like they are there, but she wakes up to Declan's parents assuming she's his girlfriend. Declan is furious about the invasion, but he also needs to appear like a family man for work so Abi agrees to pretend to be his girlfriend at a few events with his family and work colleagues.

REVIEW

What I Liked:
I like that Maid for Each Other has a loosely inspired Cinderella Theme. Declan is the millionaire "prince" and Abi is literally the maid who is more than she seems, but they don't fall in love at first site because they have to be in a fake relationship first.

Fair Warning:
I'll leave it up to you whether it's believable that Declan just happened to choose the name Abby for his fake girlfriend before he ever met Abi the maid. Coincidences can happen.

Overall:
Maid for Each Other is super cute, funny, and sweet and will appeal to those who like millionaire and fairy tale inspired stories.
