When Winnie finds out her boyfriend of 6-months is married with kids and the wife ruins her reputation in the community, she loses almost all her event planning clients. Her sister recommends her as a personal assistant to a renowned surgeon with extremely high expectations. Winnie quickly becomes more than he anticipated and she's surprised to discover there's more to Dr. Satan than it first appears.

What I Liked:
While relatively short at 250 pages, Once in a Blue Moon sure packs a big punch. As I write this, I was trying to remember what stood out, but there were so many things woven seamlessly together that it's near impossible to list them all. I love that both Winnie and Lorenzo are complicated characters with a lot of depth. I love that Lorenzo stands up for DEI in medicine and mentoring the next generation of doctors to excellence. I loved Grandpa's comedic insertions and families that are messy but have your back when it really counts.
Fair Warning:
The third act break-up only results from Lorenzo being super sensitive and may make you mad.
Overall:
Once in a Blue Moon is a super cute falling for the boss romance and great when you don't have time for something longer.
