What I Liked:
I liked the twist on the fated mates trope. Sometimes I have trouble with that particular trope when it seems like the relationship forms too easily, but that was definitely not the case for Cyrus and Annie.
Fair Warning:
The first book ends on a pretty big cliffhanger.
Overall:
If you love new adult paranormal romance and the fated mates trope, check out Ruined Mate. I highly recommend reading the Silver Wolf and Royal Vampire trilogies in the Shadow City world first, because it will make a lot more sense with so many cross-over characters with important histories.
