Rose does her best trying to raise her young brothers in the Edge between the mundane and magical worlds after her mom dies and dad leaves. Life gets even harder until a powerful stranger shows up just in time to save the day. She doesn't know whether she can trust Declan, but she can't afford to send him away either.

REVIEW

What I Liked:
True to typical Ilona Andrews form, Rose is a nobody hiding more power than she should have and Declan is a near perfect MMC who comes off terribly at first and makes repeated mistakes while trying to woo her.

Fair Warning:
Because The Edge series features a brand-new couple in each book, On The Edge is not what I would consider a super slow burn.

Overall:
On the Edge is a solid urban fantasy with a romance arc. The world-building took me a little bit of time to wrap my head around, but I think I'll be set now for the rest of the series.
