Mac's family expects her to do as she's told and keep up with the societal expectations of the obscenely wealthy. She's tried not to rock the boat too much but once she gets to college she realizes she needs to choose whether to keep her family happy or pursue the things that make her happy.

What I Liked:I loved Mac's ambition and entrepreneurial spirit. I think Cooper having an identical twin added depth to his character because it provided an easy way to compare and contrast their personalities and behaviors.
What I Didn't Really Like:It was a little hard to stomach some of the poor behaviors exhibited by both the entitled Garnet students and the townies that felt they had something to prove.
Overall:It was an interesting take on the age old story of wealthy girl meets enigmatic poor boy from across the tracks, only this wealthy girl finds her strength and takes control over her own life. Be aware that the topic of cheating is mentioned throughout, so it may not be the best choice if that's a sensitive topic for you.
