Clementine is a waitress who has never left her hometown because she cares for ailing mother. The opportunity to be a backing vocalist on tour for an Irish music star is too good to pass up and it will pay for her mom's medication. Outside of her comfort zone, Clementine's eyes are opened to the world around her and the idea of love as she gets to know the giant Irishman with the heart of a poet.

REVIEW
What I Liked:
If Not for My Baby felt a a bit deeper than your typical Rockstar Romance. It was an emotional ride and especially toward the end, there was a ton of angst. As the reader, you can easily predict that the end of the tour is going to result in some sort of train wreck, butI didn't guess how it actually played out.
Fair Warning:
Both of the main characters have atypical views on love in the beginning.
Overall:
Check out If Not for My Baby if you like rockstar romance with lots of heart and those who prefer a strong, quiet MMC. While completely different, I enjoyed Kate Golden's Sacred Stones Trilogy and will be looking to see what else she comes out with.
