REVIEW POSTED ONLINE: JAN 17, 2026
After surviving her own run-in with a serial killer, Harper forges a new life for herself in the small community of Cape Carnage. She finds a mentor in Arthur and promises to protect their town as dementia makes him less capable of doing it himself. Everything is great until Nolan comes to town with the sole purpose of killing Harper out of revenge for his brother's death.

REVIEW
What I Liked:
Tourist Season will not be for everyone. My husband took one glance at the content warnings and said "No, thank you." I find the extremely dark humor diverting while also hoping that there aren't really good hearted serial killers out there doing these things.
Fair Warning:
The Ruinous Love Trilogy by the same author features a different couple per book. I assumed The Seasons of Carnage Trilogy would be the same. I assumed WRONG. The whole trilogy is about Harper and Nolan and now I'm left with a cliffhanger that's driving me nuts because the second and third books haven't been released yet.
Overall:
If you enjoyed The Ruinous Love Trilogy or liked watching Dexter, you should check out Tourist Season. Pay attention to the content warnings.
