PS: I Hate You

REVIEW POSTED ONLINE: AUG 01, 2025
When Maddie's brother dies after his battle with cancer, she never would have guessed his final request would be for her and his best friend to travel to eight locations across the country to spread his ashes. He may not have known the reason she hated Dom since she was 19, but it feels unfair to insist she share this task with him. She literally moved across the country to get away from Dom and the only reason she agrees to fulfill this last request is because he's holding the letters for each location hostage. She will do whatever it takes for just a few more words from Josh.

REVIEW
What I Liked:
I loved this book and kept being pulled back to the story until I finished it. I normally don't gravitate toward books that involve processing grief, but PS: I Hate You had the perfect blend of snark and humor that kept the overall tone more positive. The banter between Maddie and Dom is fantastic!
Fair Warning:
The teaser of finding out what exactly happened between Maddie and Dom when they were younger is drawn out for almost the entire book. It may drive you nuts and you may be incredibly frustrated with the misguided decisions young people make.
Overall:
If you like enemies to lovers and second chance romance, check out PS: I Hate You. In some ways it reminded me of People We Meet on Vacation.
