Illusions (Order of the Dragon Book 1)

What I Liked:The plot has a lot of really good elements in it that combine into a unique story with well-loved tropes and themes, such as fated mates, the chosen one, and secret societies.

What I Didn’t Really Like:Unfortunately, I was never able to get fully engrossed in the story. I always felt like I was on the outside looking in at the events that were happening on the page. Some people like having that distance, but I would have like to have felt part of the action. I also really want to know why the secret society is called the order of the dragons when there are no dragons…at least, not yet.

Overall:If you are a fan of vampire romance, this is worth a read. Do note that it does end on a cliffhanger so be ready with the second book.
