Right before her wedding, Sophie finds out her fiance has been cheating but doesn't want to drama by calling it off, so her best friend hires Max as the Objector to crash the wedding and speak up when the moment is right. They form an odd friendship after saves her from an unhappy marriage and soon she's helping him do the same for other couples in similar positions. Neither is looking for love, but their chemistry challenges their ability to stay just friends. Letting others assume their in an actual relationship certainly doesn't help matters.

REVIEW

What I Liked:The idea behind this book is so much fun. I mean, I would hope that there aren't quite that many situations that would require a third party to jump in at the wedding with legitimate reasons why the couple shouldn't get married, but it's a new and fun idea. Sophie's unique roommates were also hilarious.

What Bothered Me:Nothing jumps out that bothered me enough to note.

Overall:If you are a fan of friends to lovers romcoms that include a few steamy scenes, Happily Never After is perfect for you.
