Sparks fly when Sophie meets the new CEO, Lucas, of the dog clothing company where she's a designer. She took it as a sign that she was a shoe-in for the VP position she was verbally promised, but then her mom shows up in a dominatrix outfit from an undercover sting to nab a panty thief and her co-worker steals her pitch, all which leads to her being fired. With no job and no place to go, she moves into her mom's Winnebago while she desperately tries to salvage her career and compete with Lucas to win a contract with a national pet supply store.

What I Liked:I reached for Wingmom because I was looking for something funny to cheer me up. Sophie's mom is super unconvential and the way she ends up in all sorts of strange situations does add quite a bit of humor to the situation.
What Bothered Me:My misconception going in was that Sophie's mom would be trying to push her into a relationship, but really she was just there to help out with all her scheme's to salvage her career, so more just like a best friend.
Overall:If you are a lover of dogs, romcoms, and moms that might be a little off the rails, then you should read Wingmom.
