Gracie spent the majority of her life in the nursing home her parents ran until her father died and she was offered a job that would allow her to expand her horizons. As her first task, she has to escort recently retired pro-footballer Bobby Tom Denton from Chicago to Texas so he can start shooting his first film. What could be so hard about that?

REVIEW
What I Liked:I became more emotionally invested that I thought I would in Heaven, Texas. While Gracie was the extreme case of a sheltered innocent and Bobby Tom was on the complete opposite side of the spectrum as an extremely selfish playboy, I think there were little bits of each with which most people can relate. Honestly, I found all the 90's references more amusing than annoying.
What Bothered Me:There was a bit of dubious consent going on that I wasn't expecting.
Overall:While it wasn't my favorite, it was interesting to read a sports romance from the 90's. Heaven, Texas contains many of the tropes I enjoy such as fake relationship, makeovers, and being a sex coach but there are a lot of dated references and attitudes.
