Imogen Loveless is an odd duck for a lady with her love for explosives and knack for bringing about chaos in her wake. Detective Thomas Peck finds he is increasingly fascinated by her particular brand of trouble as he tries to uncover exactly what she know of a recent string of explosions but their difference in class is a barrier we won't dare to overcome.

REVIEW
What I Liked:I loved both the main characters, Imogen and Tommy. The descriptions and carefully woven backstory details really brought them to life. I appreciate all the research that went into the book to maintain as much accuracy as possible for the time in which the book is set. It makes it even better that the Hell's Belles are based off a real women's vigilante group.
What Bothered Me:Nothing really stands out that bothered me.
Overall:Knockout is a fun mix of Victorian era historical romance, copious amounts of humor, and plenty of action to go along with it. I read this out of order, but the Hell's Belles novels are standalones and enough recap info is shared so the inclusion of characters from previous books is not confusing. It does end on a teaser for the next book and I honestly can't wait to read it.
